the dog who blogs: the best week ever!

miley mae douglass

i have the bestest family
and the bestest friends.
follow my blog every
monday and see the world
through my big brown eyes.

as you know from last week's post, bacon is here visiting.

i'm gonna be so bored when his momma & daddy come take him home.
we've had a blast.
here are some of the super-fab things we've done this week:

we reeked havic on the backyard.

finally, someone who can keep up with me!

then we played halloween.

this is bacon's impression of dracula.

pretty good huh...he even knows just where to bite.

don't worry, we were just playing...we really do love each other

.

here is bacon's impression of a pumpkin....he rocked it, don't ya think?

hmm. pumpkin with a little bacon...sounds good to me!

just kidding...well, maybe.

since it was nice outside
we played in the sand pit.

then i pulled a fast one, and buried him in the sand.
hahahahaha.

talk to the paw, bacon...i'll come get ya later.

next, i taught him how to get on the picnic table...my favorite outdoor perch.

it's kinda like my stage...i show off a lot for the squirrels with my slick dance moves.
bacon wanted to show off too, so i taught him the electric slide.

who knew the little fellow had such wicked dance moves....go bacon, go bacon.

one of our favorite things was to wrestle upstairs on the bed.

sometimes we would get too wild and momma would make us go
to opposite sides of the bed.

bacon started it...i swear.

every once in a while we would pose pretty for the camera.
momma said we were big goofballs...can't imagine why?

ready for our close-ups.

that's quite a beak ya got there baconater.
check this one out.
bet ya didn't know i had photoshop skills!

haha, i put my big (full of information) head on bacon's little body.
it's just crazy how tech savvy i am.

in between all the playing and posing we did manage to find a little time to eat and rest.

huh, momma still hasn't washed those windows.
i bet bacon could do it with his licker...

we even caught a chiefs football game.
bacon helped to console my daddy, since his chiefs played like dog poo!

someone's gonna have to console me when bacon leaves.
i like having him and his shadow around.

he wrote down his email address for me so we could stay in touch.
but i'm hoping he can come back soon.
i still have a lot to teach him.
like how to take off his sweater.

i would of helped him, but somethings they just have to learn on their own.

i'm gonna miss you bacon.
come back soon ok?
